Dear Friends and Colleagues
I take great pleasure in inviting you to the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS) Winter Workshop 2009 being hosted by Medanta,The Medicity, Delhi, NCR, India, from 11th to 13th December 2009. Medanta , the Medicity Is the new multisuperspeciality built by me and my colleagues on a forty three acre campus along the lines of institutions like Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, the likes of which are missing in this part of the world.
As most of you would remember we had hosted the first winter workshop in Delhi in 2002, which was a great success, since then ISMICS winter workshops have been held in different parts of Asia and participants have really enjoyed the scientific and the cultural experience. I am delighted to invite you again to India, world’s most exoctic location and vibrant economy.
I am sure you will find this year’s winter workshop to be an exciting scientific interaction but also an enriching cultural and historic experience. There are large number of attractive destinations in and around Delhi which you may enjoy visiting along with your family.
